ONE PPF In-House Installer Training

ONE Film at a Time. ONE System Mastered.

ONE PPF Training is built for professional installers and shop owners who want consistent installs, stronger edge reliability, and the confidence to install and sell clear, color, and specialty films without guesswork.

This is not a seminar.
It is a system-based, hands-on training program built around real shop conditions, repeatable processes, and measurable quality standards.

Why ONE PPF Training Exists

Most installation failures don’t come from the film.
They come from inconsistent technique – timing errors, overworking material, poor edge finishing, and workflow breakdowns that lead to contamination, rework, and comebacks.

ONE PPF training is designed to eliminate those variables.

Installers leave with:

  • A repeatable installation system they can run daily in-shop
  • Stronger edge control and cleaner finishing
  • Confidence installing clear and colored PPF
  • A standardized inspection and photo documentation process
  • Certification based on objective, pass/fail quality standards

The ONE PPF Installation System

Every film in the ONE PPF lineup is engineered around consistent installation behavior across clear, color, and specialty products.

Once you learn the ONE system, you can install the lineup with the same feel, control, and confidence.

Training is built around three fundamentals:

  • Control the film – tension, stability, and handling discipline
  • Control the edge – sealing strategy that prevents failures
  • Control the finish – clean workflow and consistent final results

Training Programs

Core Certification (2-Day)

System Foundation + Certification

The Core Certification is designed for installers who want a complete, structured foundation in the ONE PPF installation system – plus certification based on measurable quality standards.

Is the Certification Exam a training course?

No. The ONE PPF Certification Exam is strictly an evaluation and credentialing program.

Installers are assessed against ONE PPF quality standards through hands-on installation and inspection. No instructional training is provided during the exam.

Installers who need foundational or advanced instruction should enroll in one of the training programs prior to attempting certification.

Is the training hands-on or classroom-based?

Training is primarily hands-on.

Classroom time is limited and focused on process, standards, and decision-making that applies immediately in a real shop environment.

The Certification Exam is fully hands-on and evaluation-based.

What will we be installing during training or certification?

Install work is based on drills, real panels, and vehicle modules.

Depending on the program, installs may include:

  • Flat training boards (film control and squeegee technique)
  • Hard edges and corners (edge sealing discipline)
  • Mirror caps and small complex shapes
  • Hood module (pattern or bulk)
  • Colored panel installs (required in all training programs)
  • Advanced programs include specialty film and complex sequencing

The Certification Exam includes a controlled install scenario used strictly for evaluation.

Will we install colored PPF?

Yes.

How many installers can I send?

Class size is intentionally limited to maintain quality and hands-on evaluation.

  • Training programs: limited to maintain instructor access and progression
  • Certification Exam: limited to 6 installers per session to ensure objective evaluation

Multiple installers can be coordinated across sessions depending on availability.

What should we bring?

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Install-ready clothing

You may bring your preferred tools (squeegees, knives, etc.). Tools and materials are also available on-site.

Is certification guaranteed?

No. Certification is earned, not automatic.

Installers must meet ONE PPF quality standards during evaluated install segments. This protects the consistency and reputation of the dealer network.

What are installers evaluated on during certification?

Installers are evaluated on:

  • Clean workflow and prep discipline
  • Adhesive control and solution management
  • Film handling and tension control
  • Squeegee technique and water evacuation
  • Edge sealing and finishing discipline
  • Final visual quality under inspection

What happens if an installer does not pass the Certification Exam?

Installers who do not meet certification standards receive clear feedback outlining improvement areas.

In some cases, additional training or a future re-test may be recommended before reattempting certification.

Will we receive SOPs and finishing standards?

Yes — for training programs only.

Installers who complete training leave with:

  • Installation workflow structure
  • Edge sealing and finishing sequence standards
  • Inspection expectations and quality control habits
  • Certification photo documentation requirements

The Certification Exam does not include SOP instruction.

Do you teach bulk installs or pattern installs?

Training covers principles that apply to both methods.

Vehicle modules may include pattern or bulk installs depending on training flow. The priority is consistent results and edge reliability, not a specific install preference.

Does the Advanced Installer Master Class cover bumpers and complex shapes?

Yes. The Advanced Master Class focuses heavily on:
