ONE PPF LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

IMPORTANT WARRANTY NOTICE
This Limited Product Warranty (“Warranty”) applies to eligible ONE PPF paint protection film products installed on vehicles under normal automotive use conditions. This Warranty covers manufacturing defects in the film only and does not cover installation workmanship.
This Warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by ONE PPF for covered products.
1. DEFINITIONS
- “Product”: ONE PPF branded paint protection film products.
- “Covered Defect”: A verified manufacturing defect in the film material.
- “Authorized Installer / Authorized Installing Dealer”: An installer or installing dealer approved/trained/certified by ONE PPF (as applicable) and in good standing at time of installation.
- “Vehicle”: Passenger vehicles used under normal automotive conditions (non-commercial racing, non-marine, non-aircraft unless explicitly approved).
2. WARRANTY TERM (BY PRODUCT LINE)
- Colored Paint Protection Films: Eight (8) Year Limited Warranty
- HydroClear™, HydroSatin™, HydroMatte™ (7.5 mil): Ten (10) Year Limited Warranty
- Ultimate HydroClear™ (8.5 mil): Twelve (12) Year Limited Warranty
Warranty term begins on the date of installation.
3. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS
This Warranty covers verified manufacturing defects, which may include (when confirmed by ONE PPF):
- Film delamination attributable to manufacturing
- Abnormal cracking, peeling, or bubbling attributable to manufacturing
- Premature yellowing attributable to manufacturing (for applicable product lines)
- Other material failure determined by ONE PPF to be a manufacturing defect
ONE PPF retains sole discretion to determine whether a condition is a manufacturing defect.
4. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER (EXCLUSIONS)
This Warranty does not cover:
- Installation workmanship, surface prep, or installer error
- Damage from impact (rock chips, collisions), abuse, or misuse
- Improper care, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning, pressure washing misuse
- Stains or damage caused by contaminants, solvents, fuels, or corrosive chemicals
- Damage due to improper storage/handling before installation
- Normal wear, cosmetic issues, or expected aging that does not indicate defect
- Installations on non-automotive surfaces (boats, aircraft, marine use) unless explicitly approved in writing
- Removal, reinstallation, or repair work performed without authorization
- Any film not installed by an Authorized Installing Dealer / Authorized Installer (where required by program terms)
5. WARRANTY REMEDY (LIMITED)
If a claim is approved, ONE PPF will determine the remedy in its sole discretion, which may include:
- Replacement film for the affected area(s) only, or
- Another limited remedy as permitted by law
Warranty periods do not reset upon replacement. Coverage remains tied to the original installation date.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- ONE PPF is not liable for vehicle downtime, loss of use, loss of profits, or diminished value.
- ONE PPF’s total liability is limited to the purchase price of the affected Product, exclusive of labor.
7. HOW TO SUBMIT A CLAIM
All claims must follow the ONE PPF Claim Process (published separately). Dealers and customers must not remove or replace film before written authorization.
8. GOVERNING LAW
This Warranty is governed by Connecticut law, to the extent permitted.
