Cookie Policy
Effective May 4, 2026 · Issued by One PPF Inc., Sarasota, FL · Version v1
This Cookie Policy explains how One PPF Inc. ("ONE PPF," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on onepaintprotection.com. This policy supplements, and should be read together with, the ONE PPF Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They allow a site to recognize your device, remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure usage, and support advertising. This policy also covers similar technologies such as pixels, local storage, and session tokens.
2. Cookie categories
2.1 Necessary (always on)
Required for the site to function. Cannot be disabled, because disabling them would break core functionality. Examples:
- session identifiers
- CSRF protection tokens
- shopping cart state
- authentication tokens for signed-in dealers
- load balancer and routing cookies
- the record of your cookie consent choices
2.2 Analytics and Product Improvement
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve performance and content. The vendors are Microsoft Clarity (aggregate click, scroll, and heatmap interaction), PostHog (page and event usage), and Sentry (application error and performance monitoring). These analytics and product-improvement tools load by default, and you can decline them at any time with the Reject button in the cookie banner, which stops them. We configure them to minimize collection of personally identifiable information and use aggregated, de-identified reporting where feasible. Google Analytics 4 is opt-in and is described under Marketing below.
2.3 Marketing (opt-in)
Support advertising, conversion tracking, and campaign measurement across the web. Set only after you opt in. Specific vendors are Google (Google Analytics 4 / Google Ads, cookies _ga and _ga_<container>, retained up to 2 years per Google) and Meta / Facebook (Meta Pixel, cookies _fbp and, when present, _fbc, retained about 90 days per Meta), used for conversion and advertising measurement. Where GA4 is linked to Google Ads for conversion import, the GA4 tag is treated as Marketing for consent purposes. Meta also receives a matching purchase event directly from our servers (Conversions API); that server-side share honors the same opt-out and GPC state. See our Privacy Policy Section 6A.
3. Managing your choices
You can manage your preferences from the cookie banner the first time you visit, and change them any time from the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer, which turns advertising and analytics cookies off (or back on) for your browser. We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and the browser-level Do Not Track setting, treating either as an opt-out of Marketing cookies (see Privacy Policy Section 6A). Analytics cookies follow the cookie banner and stop when you choose Reject.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted third parties to provide functionality we rely on, including Stripe (payments), Google Places (address validation during checkout), Google Appointment Scheduler / Calendar (the booking tool on pages with a scheduler, loaded only after you click to open it, so it sets no cookies before then), and our analytics provider. We do not control third-party cookie behavior directly; each provider's own privacy and cookie policy governs those cookies.
5. Retention
Necessary cookies persist only as long as needed for the function they support. Analytics and Marketing cookies follow the retention windows set by their vendors, described in each provider's own cookie policy.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes apply prospectively. The current version is always available at onepaintprotection.com/cookies.
