Yes. Many EVs ship with thinner, water-based clear coats that chip and scratch more easily, and instant torque throws more debris at the front end. A self-healing PPF over the high-impact zones keeps an EV's finish flawless. We publish EV-specific guidance for Tesla, Cybertruck, and Rivian.

Ultimate HydroGloss is 8.5mil with a 12-year warranty, it's our thickest, most hydrophobic clear PPF. HydroGloss is 7.5mil with a 10-year warranty, same optical brilliance in a thinner, more flexible format built for daily volume. Both share the same adhesive system and installation characteristics.

ONE PPF Carbon Fiber is a hybrid single-layer TPU carbon fiber film. Unlike laminated alternatives, it can be scored without delaminating. It supports wet or dry install, has air release built in, and features a true 8mil construction with a dustless surface. 8-year limited warranty.

HydroSatin is a true semi-gloss satin sitting in the middle of the lineup between gloss and matte. Most competitor satin lines (XPEL Stealth, TERMINAX UltraNAX SATIN, etc.) sit between matte and our satin, closer to a half-matte. HydroSatin is a real satin finish with an OEM-grade sheen, plus the same self-healing topcoat (activated by heat or sun) as the rest of the ONE PPF family.

Yes. Every film in the ONE PPF lineup, clear, satin, matte, and all 105+ colors, shares the same adhesive behavior, slip curve, and tack characteristics. Master One, you've mastered them all. This eliminates the learning curve when switching between film types.

Mix 2ml of Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo per 32oz of warm distilled water. This provides the ideal slip ratio for positioning and squeegee work across all ONE PPF films.

No. ONE PPF films are designed to work without adhesive promoter. Use warm distilled water only for the tack solution. Apply moderate pressure to activate adhesion. No alcohol, no promoter, no specialty chemicals required.

ONE PPF films feature Edge-Seal Technology. Apply moderate pressure with distilled water to activate the edge seal. The film naturally self-wraps around edges. After all edges are sealed, post-heat with a heat gun at a safe distance to lock the seal permanently.

After all edges are sealed, post-heat the entire panel with a heat gun at a safe distance. Avoid overheating, ONE PPF films respond to moderate, even heat. This step activates the adhesive's full bonding strength and locks edge seals.

Yes. Steam is a safe and effective method for repositioning ONE PPF films during installation. It softens the adhesive bond temporarily without damaging the film or the paint surface underneath.

ONE PPF is a wet-install-only film across our entire lineup, Ultimate HydroGloss, HydroGloss, HydroSatin, HydroMatte, and all Color PPF films. The only exception is our Hybrid Carbon Fiber PPF, which supports both wet and dry installation. For detailed installation instructions, see our install guide.

Standard colored PPF: 10-year warranty (Carbon Fiber and Glow: 8-year). HydroGloss, HydroSatin, and HydroMatte (7.5mil): 10-year warranty. Ultimate HydroGloss (8.5mil): 12-year warranty. All warranties cover manufacturing defects including yellowing, bubbling, cracking, peeling, and delamination under normal conditions. Warranty coverage requires the installing dealer to register the install (vehicle VIN) in the ONE PPF dealer portal promptly after installation, via the Activate Your Warranty page. The warranty covers manufacturing defects: yellowing, bubbling, cracking, peeling, and delamination that occur under normal use and conditions. It applies to the film material itself when properly installed by a professional.

The warranty does not cover: improper installation or handling, damage from chemicals or abrasives, damage from accidents or collisions, normal wear from road debris, modifications after installation, or use outside of normal conditions. See our full warranty page for complete details.

Submit your claim to sales@onepaintprotection.com with your dealer information, photos of the issue, proof of purchase, and installation date. Our team reviews all claims and typically responds within 3 to 5 business days. See our full claims process at /claims.

Warranty coverage follows the vehicle. If a customer sells their vehicle, the remaining warranty coverage transfers to the new owner automatically. No separate transfer process is required.

ONE PPF training is held at our Sarasota, FL training center. Hands-on certification programs, Core Certification, Advanced Color PPF, and the Master Class, launch in September 2026 with reservations open. Visit the training page to pre-register.

Seven public tiers. Authorized Dealer (4%) is the activation step, opened by business verification plus Authorized Dealer Terms acceptance. From there the volume path on rolling 30-day spend climbs: Cert Pro (9% at $1,000+/mo), Cert Elite (12% at $3,500+/mo), Cert Master (15% at $5,500+/mo). The earned path on rolling 12-month spend reaches matching rates: Reserve Plus (12% at $60K+/yr), Reserve Pro (15% at $120K+/yr). Reserve Partner (20%) is the contracted top public tier. Cert promotion is automatic on the volume path; the Reserve tiers are earned on your spend and confirmed by a signed Reserve Contract. The Cert path has no lock-in or exclusivity. Above Reserve Partner is invite-only.
