Plain-language summary
The sections below summarize the terms that govern this tier. This policy is subject to revision by counsel; consult ONE PPF before relying on these terms. The operative legal agreement is provided in full at signup or on request. In the event of conflict between this summary and the operative agreement, the operative agreement governs.
1. Summary
By completing business verification (EIN or seller's permit) and accepting these Authorized Dealer Terms by electronic signature, your account is activated as an Authorized Dealer at 4% wholesale. A sample kit purchase is not required. This grants full catalog access, dealer locator listing, marketing asset access, and certified installer status from day one.
Authorized status is the entry-level public tier. Climbing to Cert Pro / Cert Elite / Cert Master happens automatically on rolling 30-day spend, with no reapplication. Reserve Class tiers require separate application + contracted signup (see Reserve Class).
2. Activation requirements
One-time activation requires:
- Valid EIN or seller permit on file.
- Business email address that matches your registered business.
- Active business phone number.
- Acceptance of these Authorized Dealer Terms by electronic signature.
Verification typically completes within 1 business day of submission. Account activation triggers a magic-link email with portal access. The sample kit is an optional dealer product and is not an activation requirement.
3. Discount terms
The Authorized 4% rate applies to eligible wholesale orders. Sample kits, training enrollments, and certain marketing add-ons bill at MSRP regardless of tier (these are not tier-discount-eligible).
Activity floor: $1,000 trailing 12-month wholesale spend. Below the floor, tier benefits (locator listing, portal access, discount rate) suspend until your trailing-12 spend climbs back above. Tier rate resumes automatically when you re-cross the floor.
4. Brand standards
Authorized Dealers agree to ONE PPF brand standards:
- No-resale policy: dealers purchase ONE PPF film for their own paint protection install business only. No resale of rolls; no marketplace listings; no transfers to other dealers. Install service pricing is freely market-determined.
- Use of ONE PPF trademarks, logos, and trade dress follows the Brand Guidelines.
- Customer-facing references to ONE PPF accurately represent product capabilities and warranty terms.
5. Term and termination
Authorized status persists indefinitely while:
- Your account remains in good standing (no chargebacks, payment failures, or unresolved disputes).
- You remain compliant with brand standards and the no-resale policy.
- Your trailing-12 spend stays above the activity floor.
ONE PPF may terminate Authorized status for cause (material breach, brand standards violation, fraud) with 30 days written notice and a cure period. Dealers may close their account at any time by emailing sales@onepaintprotection.com.
6. Data handling and privacy
Account information (business name, EIN, contact details, purchase history) is stored to operate the dealer program and process orders. We do not sell dealer data to third parties. Full data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to these terms
ONE PPF may update these terms with 30 days notice via email to your registered business address. Continued use of the dealer program after the effective date of updates constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing Law and Arbitration
These Authorized Dealer Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the arbitration seated in Hartford, Connecticut (industry-convention AAA locus).
